Born and raised in Alexandria, VA, Dirk now calls Royal Oak, MI home. After five years in Metro Detroit, he launched Detroit Custom Tile & Flooring on a simple principle: Quality shouldn't be a gamble.
Having spent years in the tile and flooring trade, Dirk has seen too many projects handled the "easy" way rather than the "right" way. He started this business to offer a true alternative—custom tile and flooring installations built on rigorous prep work, structural integrity, and long-lasting durability, even when it’s not the fastest path.
